Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor
We are an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor which means that we work to BS3998: 2010 Recommendations for Tree Work. This means that we are one of only approximately 220 such companies throughout the UK and Ireland. The Arboricultural Association expects very high standards which restrict the number of successful applicants. Because of the irrevocable nature of all operations concerning tree care these standards are carefully maintained by inspection of the recommended contractors. This means that you can trust in Jenks to provide a professional service of guaranteed quality to give the very best care for your trees.
All our works are covered by a 10 million pound liability insurance. We are county council approved contractors and our staff are Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked.

Health and Safety
Health and safety is at the forefront of our operations. We recognise that the safety of our staff, our clients and the public is paramount before, during and after any work is carried out. As such, we run vigorous in-house and external training, checks, and auditing of all our practises, machinery and equipment. Most Operations staff have CSCS cards and senior staff passed their CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme.
As a basic, all our staff are trained in first aid as appointed persons.
We are also externally accredited by SAFEContractor, CHAS, Constructionline and Exor.
In addition to health and safety there are other things we demonstrate - financial soundness, our commitment to customer service, our policies and procedures and training. That is why we are also accredited by TrustMark, approved by Trading Standards and we are a Which? Trusted Trader.
